Research Ethics

Approaching research ethically is a key consideration in all academic research but is especially important when working with Indigenous Peoples.  Tracking Change is guided by Indigenous Elders and knowledge holders and we strive to approach the project with the key project principles of collaboration.

As per University of Alberta protocol, Tracking Change received Research Ethics Board approval for research in each of its active research years (2017 to 2020).
